Position Summary

We are looking for an aggressive, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a hunter’s mindset to break into new accounts, dominate target markets, and drive top-line revenue growth.

This is high-activity, outbound salescold calls, door knocks, networking, and relentless follow-up—focused on securing new, profitable business relationships.

Territory

Primary Territory: Own and aggressively develop the Waycross, Georgia, market while expanding ITVantix’s presence throughout surrounding territories, including, but not limited to, Tifton, Brunswick, Valdosta, and Jacksonville.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Relentlessly prospect for new business through cold calls, in-person visits, social media outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain a large, high-quality sales pipeline, accurately tracking all activities, opportunities, and next steps in the CRM.
  • Establish and execute daily outreach goals for calls, meetings, appointments, and proposals.
  • Identify key decision-makers and develop effective strategies for reaching them.
  • Uncover business challenges and position ITVantix solutions across IT, VoIP, security, and office technology to address client needs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proposals that clearly communicate value and differentiate ITVantix from competitors.
  • Negotiate and close profitable contracts while maintaining a strong client experience.
  • Represent ITVantix at networking events, trade shows, community functions, and other business-development opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients and newly onboarded accounts.
  • Develop strong, long-term client relationships built around responsiveness, trust, and measurable business value.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of each client’s business, technology needs, priorities, and future goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, opportunities, concerns, and account updates within the CRM.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to provide performance updates, identify opportunities, address concerns, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor account performance, service utilization, engagement, and client satisfaction to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure client needs and expectations are communicated and addressed effectively.

Retention & Account Growth

  • Take ownership of client retention and proactively address issues that could put an account at risk.
  • Manage contract renewals with a goal of 100% client retention.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing accounts through strategic upselling and cross-selling across ITVantix’s portfolio.
  • Develop account-growth strategies based on each client’s evolving business and technology needs.
  • Generate qualified opportunities from existing relationships, referrals, and introductions.
  • Gather client feedback and market intelligence and communicate actionable insights to leadership, sales, marketing, and service teams.
  • Balance new-client acquisition with long-term account growth to maximize total client lifetime value.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required

Proven hunter sales track record in B2B salesManaged IT Services, telecom, security systems, or office equipment sales experience preferred.

  • 3+ years consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Exceptional cold-calling, networking, and door-opening skills.
  • Strong closing ability—comfortable asking for and getting the sale.
  • Self-motivated, highly competitive, and driven to win.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Working knowledge of IT, VoIP, security solutions and office equipment preferred (training provided).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Education/Training Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given strong consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience with delivering presentations to potential clients.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver‘s License

Performance Expectations

  • Schedule and conduct a minimum number of new prospect meetings per week.
  • Build and keep a 6–12 month rolling pipeline with qualified opportunities.
  • Hit or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new revenue goals.
  • Consistently rank in the top tier of sales performance metrics.
