The Primary Purpose of the Marketing Manager/Director position is to work directly with the CEO and Sales Team in developing, implementing and managing various marketing systems, campaigns, content, branding and relationships to achieve our company’s short- and long-term revenue objectives.
To plan, schedule, implement, and report on various marketing systems for attracting clients, closing sales, and increasing revenue. This person will also be responsible for managing and implementing all marketing communications, for improving our lead generation and lead conversion systems, managing events and seminars, managing our member web site (as directed) and client communications. Success in this role will be measured by timely and accurate implementation of campaigns, marketing systems, reporting, prospect development and overall increase in sales.
The ideal candidate will report to the ITVantix office located in Warner Robins, GA and will occasionally need to travel to the Peachtree City and Conyers offices and surrounding areas to coordinate overall marketing efforts.
Success in this role will be measured in the following way:
- Your ability to quickly learn and take over the management of several marketing campaigns, systems and tasks already in process, document a baseline for their performance, and develop a plan for improving the results they generate. Some of the areas are:
- All aspects of social media management
- Google AdWords and online lead generation systems management
- Multi-step follow up and lead conversion system development
- Marketing strategy brief production
- Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Marketing scheduling and budgeting
- Client email communications
- Event marketing and production
- Production of other partnerships, webinars, and marketing initiatives
- Compilation of leads and lead source development
- Overall quality of branding and cohesiveness of message
- Development of successful print/copy/digital/broadcast and other marketing collateral
- Your ability to hit tight production deadlines for all deliverables to our clients, events and marketing campaigns without mistakes or excuses.
- The clarity and accuracy of client communications being sent, as well as the accuracy of our client relationship management system(s), public web sites, and other marketing collateral in use.
Tactical Work and Responsibilities
Note; the following list is an initial list of work and responsibilities for this position. Additional work and responsibilities will be added as your individual skill level increases.
- Help plan and execute the Company’s marketing plan; this includes list management, ROI tracking and reporting of campaigns, managing vendors, and executing all campaigns correctly and on schedule.
- Proofreading and checking all documents, web sites, marketing campaigns and communications for mistakes and typos, broken links, incorrect information, etc.. Also, to ensure all lead capture and follow up systems happen as they should.
- Organize, implement, and manage company seminars, lunch-and-learns, trade shows and other events including negotiating venue contracts, promotion of the event, reminders to those registered, related lodging arrangements (rare), registration, travel, schedule, etc.
- Provide detailed reports to C-Level management of weekly leads generated, sales, conversion percentages, and ROI for various marketing initiatives.
- Manage and improve the follow up marketing systems to convert inbound leads to sales (web conversion to ITVantix Sales follow up process).
- Quality control of “brand” and image to ensure consistency on all marketing communications, online and offline.
- Manage and regularly audit the various web sites we own and follow up systems for performance and accuracy.
- Organize and manage database cleanliness and maintenance (checking for duplicates, accuracy, updating old addresses, etc.).
- Create and send e-mail, voice mail, and fax notifications to the client base for various teleseminars, updates, new products, deadlines, etc.
- Manage the company’s Groundhogg (marketing automation & crm) instance, checking for accuracy, sending broadcast emails for upcoming events, managing the client calendar, etc.
- Seek and manage affiliates, create marketing campaigns to help fuel affiliate sales, and track affiliate sales and prepare commission reports.
- Oversee and ultimately improve the “stick campaigns” for all products, and make sure these systems are going out on time and with accurate information.
- Schedule email and traditional “snail” mail marketing campaigns, coordinate collateral publication and mailing of envelopes, postcards, etc…
- Perform other tasks as requested and directed by management.

- Advanced skills with CRMs, Marketing Automation Platforms (i.e. Groundhogg, Hubspot, Infusionsoft), Microsoft Word, Outlook, Publisher, Teams, 365 and Excel. Candidate must be able to work with database files, Excel spreadsheets containing data, and mail merge functions in Word.
- Ability to create and manage WordPress websites and any sales/marketing automation platform plugins being used for customer relationship management (“CRM”) purposes.
- Ability to produce ROI reports for various marketing initiatives.
- Ability to create professional Word documents and sales letters.
- Ability to create and edit graphics and collateral in Canva.
- Ability to create a production schedule and follow it.
- Ability to create and print mail merge documents and labels in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access!

Any other relevant skills necessary to perform any duties and responsibilities as may be adjusted as the company grows and/or the Marketing Manager role changes.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- A minimum of 5 years Marketing / Public Communications experience required
- BA/BS in Marketing / Public Communications or a commensurate level of directly related experience
- A minimum of 2 years direct experience using Hubspot, Keap Infusionsoft, Groundhogg, Constant Contact or equivalent Marketing Automation Platform (MAP)
- Experience with HaloPSA a plus
- Experience importing/exporting transactional data and integration between software platforms a plus
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience managing domain presence
